Here's a recent living room chimney ready to be plastered. Although relatively a small job compared to a full living room, the quality and finish are our top concern.

C McMullen Plastering and Rendering Services are a Rossendale company based in Rawtenstall.
Upper area of house rendered using K Rend Silicone product
Owner Chris is a fully qualified Plasterer with many years experience working in and around the Rossendale Valley.
As the image shows, you don't have to render the whole house. This shows a part rendered wall where the lower granite style brickwork is left open. The previous surface was covered by traditional pebble-dash coating, and you can see the difference, where the new K Rend finish compliments the natural stone work.
Small or larger plastering jobs can be done with the same level of care and tidiness, especially when working in a customer's home. Dust sheets and covers are used to protect flooring from any spillages.

Other methods of keeping the brickwork protected from the Rossendale weather were by using pebbles applied onto a plastered surface. Whilst lasting many years, this now tends to look a little outdated and with technological advancement in cement and silicone render products, there are many options now available, which can add a whole new look to your home.
